UPDATE: Power restored in Vernon after early morning outage

VERNON – Hundreds of people in Vernon were without power this morning.

According to B.C. Hydro, at 7:17 a.m. today, 518 customers south of Kokanee Road and northwest of Commonage Road lost power.

Crews arrived around 9 a.m. and started working to restore power. 

The power has been restored to all affected by this early morning outage.
