A blustery start to the week in the Okanagan

OKANAGAN – Environment Canada is forecasting a windy start to the week in the Okanagan with some rain tonight and tomorrow, but don't worry, the sunshine will be back.

A mix of sun and cloud with a high of 25 Celsius are on the radar for today, Sept. 26. Watch for winds of about 20 km per hour gusting to 40 km per hour this afternoon and overnight with a 30 per cent chance of showers. The wind will become light near midnight with a low of 10 C.

It will be mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers early in the morning tomorrow. The skies will clear late in the morning with the wind southwest wind at 20 km/h becoming north at 30 gusting to 50 km/h. The forecast calls for a high of around 19 C on Tuesday with clear skies overnight and a low of 2 C.

The forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloudy on Wednesday with a high of 19 C. Expect cloudy periods overnight with a low of about 4 C.

It's looking good for Thursday and Friday, with sunshine and highs around around 20 C.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 17 C and lows of 7 C.
