Hot weather here to stay for rest of week in Okanagan

OKANAGAN – Without a cloud or raindrop on the radar, this week's forecast gives Okanagan residents a reason to celebrate.

Environment Canada is forecasting plenty of sun and hot temperatures this week.

Today's high temperature is expected to reach 33 Celsius, much higher than the seasonal normal high temperature of 26 C. Along with the sunshine and the heat comes a UV index of 8 or very high. The temperature will drop to 12 C overnight.

Tomorrow will be sunny with a high of 33 C and a low of 15 C. Much the same for Wednesday with a high around 32 C and a low of 11 C.

For Thursday and Friday, more sunshine with highs around 30 C and lows of 11 C.
