Hot weather here to stay for rest of week in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – Sunshine and hot temperatures all week in Kamloops.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 35 Celsius today, Aug. 15, which surpasses the seasonal normal high temperature of 28 C. Along with the sunshine and the heat comes a UV index of 8 or very high. The temperature will drop to 16 C overnight.

The forecast calls for sunny skies for the rest of the week with highs in the low- to mid-30s.

Tomorrow expect a high of 32 C and a low of 18 C. Much the same for Wednesday and Thursday, with highs around 32 C and lows about 13 C.

On Friday, sunshine with a high of 33 C and a low of 12 C.
