PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP dealt with a rash of commercial break and enters last week in the Peach City.
Community policing coordinator Rick Dellebuur says police responded to a break-in at the Penticton Legion overnight Tuesday, July 19.
Police arrived to find a window in the building smashed and several impaired men on the street. A man seen on the roof of the building when police arrived and he tried to run away but was caught by police. He spent several hours in the detachment jail in order to sober up and was released on a promise to appear after being charged with break and enter and mischief.
