Crews battle Kamloops house fire

Firefighters are fighting a house fire in Kamloops this afternoon.

Crews were on the scene around 2 p.m. today, Nov. 14.

The public is asked to avoid the area as firefighters work to douse the fire in the 100 block of 12 Street, according to a Kamloops Fire Rescue social media post.

A fire department spokesperson was not immediately available to provide more details.
