Thief stays in building after closing time, breaks out with the goods
PENTICTON – A break and enter into a downtown business complex may have been a break-out, police say.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says police are continuing their investigation into the theft of several computers after offices were ransacked in the City Centre in downtown Penticton.
The thefts occurred sometime between 6 p.m. and 4 a.m. Friday night, July 8.
Police believe the thief remained in the building when it closed Friday evening, making it relatively easy to go from office to office within the complex.
