Minor injuries after head-on crash in Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM – A head-on crash on a wet highway in Salmon Arm sent three people to hospital with minor injuries on Friday.

RCMP say just after 4 p.m., July 8, police and ambulance crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 1 near 65 Avenue NW, according to a RCMP media release.

The driver of a black Honda four-door sedan hydroplaned and hit a white Ford F350 head-on, police say

Three people, including two children, suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the Honda was given a violation ticket citing speed relative to road conditions.
