Cool, wet weather doesn’t put a damper on Centre of Gravity in Kelowna

KELOWNA – Despite the rain, the clouds and an absence of the normally scorching hot July temperatures, thousands are taking part in Kelowna’s biggest beach party.

It’s the ninth year Centre of Gravity has taken over the city’s downtown lakeshore with hip hop and electronic dance music, along with exhibitions in adrenaline sports.

Legendary rapper Ice Cube headlined on Friday night, July 8, and it was Afrojack's turn last night. The festival wraps up tonight with Skrillex taking the stage.
