Crash slows traffic on Highway 97A near Armstrong

ARMSTRONG – A crash on Highway 97A just south of Armstrong this afternoon has backed up traffic.

The collision happened at about 2 p.m., July 9, on the Highway at the intersection with Harding Road, across from the Tim Horton’s.

At least two vehicles were involved and emergency crews are on the scene.

There is no word if anyone was injured, and if there were injuries, how serious they are.

Highway 97A is closed northbound but a detour is available via Powerhouse Road, according to Drive B.C. The estimated time of reopening is 5 p.m.
