Sam Roberts kicks off summer concert series at Sun Peaks

SUN PEAKS – The Juno-award winning Sam Roberts Band performed at Sun Peaks Resort for the first time this weekend.

Last night’s, July 8, concert was the first of four events at the ski resort this summer.

You’ll need to wear your best retro attire for the Flashback weekend on July 15 to July 17. Live bands will be playing the best of the 70s, 80s and 90s.

On Aug. 12 to Aug. 14, get ready to rock with the Retro Concert Weekend. Cover bands will be playing hits from Johnny Cash, Pat Benatar, Heart, The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith.

Alan Doyle and the Beautiful Gypsies will wrap up the Sun Peaks summer concert series. The former lead singer from Great Big Sea headlines the two days of life music Aug. 19 and Aug. 20.
