Silver Star unveils new summer tubing ride

VERNON – Tubing at Silver Star Mountain isn’t just a winter activity anymore.

While many enjoy suiting up in snowpants and toques for the popular mountain activity, the resort has found a way to keep the fun going throughout the warmer months as well.

The resort has just rolled out two chutes for summer tubing. It’s similar to tubing in the winter, minus the snow.

You’ll still get the rush, the views, and that fresh mountain air.

Tickets can be purchased at the village ticket office or rental shop. One ride is $5, and an hour pass is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors of 65 and youth 13 to 18, and $10 for children six to 12.
