LONDON, Ont. – Antonio Stranges and Logan Mailloux scored in the shootout as the London Knights edged the Guelph Storm 4-3 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Stranges’s goal late in the third period tied the game 3-3 to force overtime for London (31-13-2), while Max McCue and Luke Evangelista also scored.
Brett Brochu made 26 saves and turned away two skaters in the shootout for the win.
Jake Karabela, Valentin Zhugin and Danny Zhilkin supplied the offence for Guelph (25-16-6).
Goaltender Owen Bennett stopped 22 shots for the Storm.
Both teams went 0 for 2 on the power play.
Elsewhere in the OHL, the Owen Sound Attack downed the Kitchener Rangers 6-2 and the Sarnia Sting topped the Saginaw Spirit 10-6.
