Kelowna’s Raft Kid is the internet’s newest meme-able sensation

KELOWNA – A local toddler's photo is being mocked online – and everyone seems to love it.

Less than a week ago a Kelowna man uploaded a photo of his friend's young son with his head comically pushing through a floatie to a website that hosts weekly photoshop battles. Reddit users award points to their favourite images with the winner allowed to pick the photo used for the next battle. 

The Reddit subthread, Child with Raft on his Head, has since received dozens of submissions, with the young boy transformed into everything from E.T. to a Pokemon card. He has since become known as "Raft Kid."

Five days ago a user named Bewildurbeast received 2144 points for his creation, which he calls Knights of Teal, attack! Check out some of the more clever submissions below.
