Back road rollover puts man in critical condition

KELOWNA – A 49-year-old man is in critical condition after rolling his Jeep on a forest service road in Joe Rich Saturday evening.

The accident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Victor Forest Service Road near Goudie. The driver and sole occupant of the Jeep CJ was airlifted to Kelowna General Hospital and remains in serious condition.

Many details are still unknown but Const. Jesse O’Donaghey says the man was found by friends who reported the accident to emergency services.

The investigation is ongoing but alcohol is not suspected to have been involved.
