Sudden death in Rutland

KELOWNA – RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating a sudden death in Rutland over the weekend.

Const. Jesse O'Donaghey says officers were called to a house on Peck Court at around 2 p.m., May 28 for a "sudden death."

An area resident calls it a known drug house but O'Donaghey says the death is not being considered suspicious at this time.

"The RCMP continue to assist the B.C. Coroners Service in their investigation," he says.
