PARIS – In a story October 9, 2020, about French hospitals struggling with the coronavirus, The Associated Press erroneously reported the U.S. dollar conversion for the 8.5 billion euros in investment the French government promised for the hospital system. That’s the equivalent of about $10 billion, not $9.3 million.
