Single vehicle rollover on Highway 3A sends driver to hospital
PENTICTON – A single vehicle rollover on Highway 3A this afternoon sent one woman to hospital.
Around 12:30 p.m. today, May 18, the Kaleden Volunteer Fire Department was called to the scene of a single vehicle crash. When they arrived they found a Buick sedan flipped over in the northbound ditch of Highway 3A approximately three kilometres west of the Highway 97 junction, fire chief Darlene Bailey says.
A Twin Lakes woman driving the vehicle was the lone occupant. She managed to get out of the car unassisted but was transported to Penticton Regional Hospital with unknown injuries.
Traffic is currently reduced to alternating single lane flow through the scene.
Emergency personnel were still on scene as of 1 p.m.
