KAMLOOPS, B.C. – Mounties are investigating a shooting that sent a man to hospital in Kamloops, B.C.
Police say they were called to a home on the community’s north shore early Monday to a report of a disturbance.
Staff Sgt. Simon Pillay says the shooting is believed to have been targeted and those involved are part of the local drug trade.
He says a 24-year-old man was sent to hospital with unknown injuries.
Police say this is the fourth such shooting in the city this year, although the other three resulted in fatalities. (CHNL)
