Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Industrials. Up three cents, or 1.78 per cent, to $1.72 on 5.3 million shares.

Sherrit International Corp. (TSX:S). Basic Materials. Up 4.5 cents, or 16.98 per cent, to 31 cents on 5.2 million shares.

Western Resources Corp. (TSX:WRX). Basic Materials. Up two cents, or 8 per cent, to 27 cents on 5.2 million shares.

The company named Eric Ellenbogen, a former president and chief executive of Marvel Enterprises, as its new chief executive. He replaces Michael Donovan, who has stepped down as CEO and executive chair.

Canadian National Railway Co. (TSX:CNR). Industrials. Down 10 cents, or 0.08 per cent, to $122.60 on 854,288 shares. The company signed a deal to acquire the Massena rail line, which runs between Quebec and New York, from CSX.
