Police looking for any unreported information in case of missing Armstrong man

VERNON – Police continue to search for a missing Armstrong man last seen around the middle of February.

Terrence Strynadka, 63, was last seen Feb. 15 near Swan Lake in Vernon. Despite an appeal to the public for tips, police say they haven’t received any solid leads and are asking anyone with unreported information to contact them.

“We’d ask anyone that was driving in the area, if you saw him and haven’t phoned and let us know yet, anyone that saw him that day or has any idea where he might have gone to let us know,” Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says. “His family is still looking for him as well, as are we.”

Police have released a photo taken of Strynadka the morning he was last seen hoping it might jog someone’s memory, but so far there have been no tips leading to his location or even a direction of travel, Noseworthy says.

RCMP describe Strynadka as a Caucasian man, 5’9” tall, 189 lbs, with grey hair, a grey moustache and beard, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing glasses and a black and grey jacket.

Anyone with information on Strynadka's whereabouts is asked to contact their local police detachment, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
