Stornoway Diamond Corp. (TSX:SWY). Materials. Up half a penny, or 25 per cent, to 2.5 cents to 8.3 million shares.
Aphria Inc. (TSX:APHA). Health care. Up 45 cents, or 4.55 per cent, to $10.33 on 4.3 million shares.
Burcon Nutrascience Corp. (TSX:BU). Health care. Up 51 cents, or 45.13 per cent, to $1.64 on 2.4 million shares.
Zargon Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSX:ZAR). Energy. Down half a penny, or 14.29 per cent, to three cents on 2 million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Energy. Up five cents, or 0.63 per cent, to $7.99 on 1.8 million shares.
Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financials. Up 41 cents, or 1.76 per cent, to $23.67 on 1.7 million shares.
Companies reporting:
Canadian Utilities Ltd. (TSX:CU). Down eight cents to $37.29. Canadian Utilities Ltd. says it has signed agreements to sell its entire Canadian fossil fuel-based electricity generation portfolio for approximately $835 million. Under a deal with Heartland Generation Ltd., an affiliate of Energy Capital Partners, the company will sell 11 partly or fully owned natural gas-fired and coal-fired electricity generation assets in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. Canadian Utilities has also signed an agreement to sell its 50-per-cent stake in the Cory Cogeneration Station near Saskatoon to SaskPower International.
