DENVER – Rhys Duch scored four times and added two assists to lead the Calgary Roughnecks past the Colorado Mammoth 11-8 on Sunday afternoon in National Lacrosse League action.
Dan Taylor had two goals and two assists for Calgary (3-1), while Zach Currier, Chris Boushy, Shane Simpson and Riley Loewen had a goal and two assists apiece. Ryan Martel added a goal of his own.
Christian Del Bianco made 41 saves for the win.
Ryan Benesch struck twice and added an assist for Colorado (0-2) and Jacob Ruest had three helpers. Brad Self, Taylor Stuart, Ryan Lee, Chris Wardle, Stephen Keogh and Eli McLaughlin rounded out the attack.
Dillon Ward stopped 28-of-38 shots for the Mammoth.
The Roughnecks were 1 for 2 on the power play and Colorado was 0 for 3 with the man advantage.
