CONYERS, Ga. – Authorities say a suburban Atlanta sheriff’s deputy accused of stalking a woman and her daughter has now been fired after two more women said he did it to them, too.
WSB-TV reports Rockdale County Sheriff’s deputy James Campbell was fired Monday afternoon.
Campbell had been arrested and charged with stalking last month after a woman told authorities he came to her home to harass her even though she texted him saying not to contact her or her daughter.
Now, sheriff’s spokeswoman Yolande Lovingood-Moore says another woman and a 17-year-old also accused Campbell of stalking. No charges were filed as of Monday in the latest cases.
Campbell became a certified deputy in 2016. WSB-TV went to his home, but no one came to the door.
