VANCOUVER – Olympic silver medalist and part-time Kelowna resident Kelsey Serwa is taking to social media in the hopes someone knows who stole race gear from her car recently.

“Hey Vancouver friends!! My car was recently broken into and my entire ski bag full of race gear was stolen. So, if you see a homeless person walking around in ski boots, wearing a helmet, goggles, gloves, back brace, knee pads, race suit, carrying a sack of dirty laundry and some sweet Descente and Lululemon jackets make sure you take a picture because that would be a funny sight in the city,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “This sucks.”

Serwa, who grew up skiing at Kelowna’s Big White Resort, won the silver medal for Ladies Ski Cross at the 2014 Winter Olympics and took home a gold medal at the 2016 X-Games in Colorado.
