SNAP Math Fair comes to UBC Okanagan

KELOWNA – For the first time, UBC Okanagan will host a SNAP (Student-centred, Non-competitive, All-inclusive, Problem-based) Math Fair.

This year, Rutland Middle School students have been invited to campus on Friday, March 11 to participate in the fair.

This year's fair will have over 20 stations of interactive math puzzles.

Students will gain confidence in their problem solving skills, creating a favourable attitude towards mathematics.

SNAP Math Fairs are facilitated by students for students in countries all over the world including Sweden, Africa, and the U.S.
