Edgy burlesque troupe strutting through Kelowna

KELOWNA – A world-famous burlesque group will be making a stop in Kelowna next month.

The SuicideGirls: Blackheart Burlesque is a geeky take on a sexy performance that is currently touring around North America.

Their shows combine lingerie and lace with tattoos and pop culture. According to their Facebook page Star Wars, The Legend of Zelda, Clockwork Orange and Fifty Shades of Grey are referenced by the dancers who have been “reimagining burlesque since 2002.”

“This round the girls will amaze and pump up this fantasy spectacular with new stripteases and entertaining crowd involvement,” the Facebook page reads.

They will be at Level Nightclub on April 27.
