Hostage taken in Austrian bank robbery
BERLIN – Austrian police say a person has been taken hostage during a bank robbery in an Alpine town near the German border.
Police told the Austria Press Agency on Friday that police have been in contact with the suspect, who has been holed up inside the bank in Erpfendorf since the late-morning robbery attempt.
