UPDATE: Highway 97 reopens near Peachland

PEACHLAND – Highway 97 has reopened south of the Highway 97C junction.

A head on crash shortly after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3 shut down both lanes about four kilometres south of Peachland Lane on Highway 97.

RCMP have not commented on the extent of the injuries but Global Okanagan reports a car crossed the centre line and hit another vehicle head on. A third vehicle was also involved.

Two men and a woman were taken to hospital. The woman is in critical condition.
