Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 75 cents, or 5.60 per cent, to $12.64 on 8.6-million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down eight cents, or 4.06 per cent, to $1.89 on 7.3-million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 44 cents, or 7.61 per cent, to $5.34 on 6.8-million shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Down 14 cents, or 2.33 per cent, to $5.87 on 5.7-million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down 25 cents, or 4.50 per cent, to $5.31 on 5.7-million shares.

Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (TSX:POT). Fertilizer. Down 56 cents, or 2.57 per cent, to $21.27 on 5.7-million shares.

Toronto-Dominion Bank (TSX:TD). Bank. Down 64 cents, or 1.10 per cent, to $57.33 on 2.7-million shares. TD Securities, the investment dealer arm of TD Bank, is expanding in the United States by acquiring New York-based broker-dealer Albert Fried & Co. Financial terms of the agreement were not immediately available. The deal will see TD Securities acquire all of Albert Fried’s services and capabilities including self-clearing, securities lending and a prime brokerage technology platform.
