B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up six cents, or 1.41 per cent, to $4.32 on 4.4-million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up 72 cents, or 5.89 per cent, to $12.95 on 4.3-million shares.
Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Up 42 cents, or 2.03 per cent, to $21.09 on 4.1-million shares.
Acerus Pharmaceuticals Corp. (TSX:ASP). Drug manufacturers. Up 2.5 cents, or 23.81 per cent, to 13 cents on 3.9-million shares.

Ballard Power Systems (TSX:BLD). Fuel cell technology. Up 22 cents, or 8.70 per cent, to $2.75 on 2.4-million shares. Shares in Ballard Power Systems gained nearly 10 per cent Thursday after the company announced a distribution agreement with Toyota Tsusho Corp. The deal will see the company become a distributor of Ballard-powered fuel cell products in Japan. The initial term of the agreement runs to the end of 2020.
