MONTREAL – A lawyer representing the estranged wife of former Parti Quebecois leader Pierre Karl Peladeau says his client now knows who ordered a man to tail her.
Mathieu Piche-Messier says Julie Snyder received the information Saturday in accordance with a judge’s orders.
Quebec Superior Court Justice Paul Mayer ruled Thursday that security firm Garda had to tell Snyder who hired the firm to have her followed on June 26.
That’s the day Snyder was informed a man in a black hat was inquiring about her at the Quebec City airport.
Piche-Messier wouldn’t reveal the name of the person who hired Garda, saying his client is debating what to do with the information.
Snyder and Peladeau are in divorce proceedings after announcing in January their relationship was over.
