Fire in southern Spain kills 4; no cause known yet

MADRID – The emergency service in Spain’s southern region of Andalucia says four people have died in a house fire in the city of Jaen.

A statement Saturday says fire services had confirmed that one of the dead was a minor and that another minor had survived but was being treated by the city’s medical service.

The statement says police are investigating the cause of the fire that gutted the dwelling Saturday afternoon.
