Update – Doyle Avenue closure changed to next week

A scheduled closure of Doyle Avenue has been delayed another week.

Doyle Avenue between Ellis Street and the laneway to The Madison will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 17 to Friday, Nov. 20.

Access to The Madison via the laneway may be affected, and flaggers will in place to manage traffic flow.

Construction crews will be working on underground utilities for the Community Health and Services Centre.

The road is expected to re-open by 5 p.m. on Friday Nov. 20.

Motorists are asked to watch their speed and obey any traffic control personnel.

The City of Kelowna appreciates the patience of residents, businesses and motorists during the construction season.
