You can understand this woman's reaction when a bear decides to start ripping apart her kayak in the middle of nowhere.
Mary Maley was stopped in Berg Bay, Alaska, on a solo trip when a bear attacked her kayak, even after she sprayed it with bear spray.
Despite her best efforts to rationalize with the bruin, it gnawed on her boat for a good five to 10 minutes before wandering off.
The good news is she managed to catch a lift on a passing ship.
