UPDATE: Missing Vernon woman located

Vernon RCMP announced Tuesday, Sept. 8, that Cheryl 'Daisy' McEwan, who left a medical facility last week without completing her treatment, has been found. 

6:43 A.M., SEPT. 4, 2015

VERNON – Authorities are appealing to the public for help finding a missing woman.

Vernon RCMP say Cheryl ‘Daisy’ McEwan, 62, left a medical facility without completing her treatment. Cpl. S.E. Hornoi says in a media release she needs to be found so she can receive necessary medical attention.

McEwan is described as 5’6” tall, 180 pounds, and having short dark hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red toque and headphones. No photo of her was supplied by the RCMP. 

Police advise that she can be aggressive and recommend you don not approach her.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
