
Information on Sun Peaks hit and run could net you $10,000 reward
KAMLOOPS – The family of a man who was hit by a vehicle on Sun Peaks Road last Sunday is appealing to the public and offering a $10,000 reward in exchange for information on the driver who fled the scene.
The vehicle — a dark older model Chevy S-10 pickup truck — hit a man who was walking the road with two friends around 3 a.m. on Sunday, July 19. The 30-year-old pedestrian sustained serious injuries to his head and lower body.
Anyone with information is asked to call Lambert and Williams Law Corporation at 250-589-2174 to be considered for the reward. A reward will only be considered for information that leads to a criminal or civil conviction of the driver.
Police are seeking anyone with information on this hit and run as well. Contact the Kamloops Rural RCMP at 250-314-1800 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
