KELOWNA – A woman from Kelowna has been identified as the passenger killed when a car rolled on Highway 16 on June 26.
Coroner Donita Kuzma has identified Jamie Kathleen Doornbosch, 29, along with driver Paul John Constantineau of Thorsby, Alta., as the two people who died at the scene of the single-vehicle accident aproximately 36 kilometres east of Tete Jaune Cache.
In an information bulletin, Kuzma said the car in which the pair were driving was heading east just after midnight when it left the road, hit the ditch and then rolled.
The families of the victims have been notified and both the B.C. Coroner Service and RCMP traffic services continue to investigate the accident.
