MALAKWA, B.C. – A man is dead following a collision between a train and a pedestrian in the Shuswap.
Sicamous RCMP say officers responded to a call from Canadian Pacific rail police around 11 a.m. about an accident near Malakwa, east of Sicamous.
The incident took place off the Trans-Canada Highway.
The Mounties are not releasing the man's name until his family is notified.
This is the second fatal train incident in the Malakwa area this year.

The Train Crew are going through hell right now. This tragedy will live in there minds for the rest of their lives. I know.
