UPDATE: Missing 12-year-old boy found
UPDATE: Kamloops RCMP confirm the 12-year-old boy reported missing on June 6th, 2015 has been located.

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating to help find a 12-year-old boy.
Bryston Krug was reported missing by his family Saturday, June 6, 2015.
He is described as Caucasian, 4’7” tall and 85 lbs, with blonde hair and brown eyes. Krug was last seen leaving his residence.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
It is not believed he was kidnapped and an amber alert was not issued because the situation 'does not meet' the criteria.

I was made aware of this situaiton by a dear friend. I am shocked that an Amber Alert was not issued.Bryston is a child and as such all resources should have been used to find him. A missing child is harrowing for any parents. A missing child for whom all resrouces are not put into motion must be even more hellish for the family.

What no Amber Alert. To me this is not right. Any child that goes missing there should be an alert put out. There must be something special ablout this boy. I sure hop he is found soon and alive and well. My prayers go out for him.
Any missing child should automatically have Amber Alert issued. That is just crazy

No Amber Alert because he doesn’t fit the criteria? I have a Crim degree. 12 is the “magic” age for a # of youth related issues, but I can’t understand this….anyone know what the criteria is?
How can anyone say its not an AMBER alert, its a CHILD, make it an AMBER ALERT via FACEBOOK because you care and are not tied in the policy of the almighty criteria.. who make the rules..

An Amber alert was not issued last September for a little 9 year old girl because it didn’t meet the criteria and she was found deceased in Sundre , Alberta.
