MEMORIAL CUP: Rockets face Remparts in semi-final

QUEBEC CITY, Que. – The Kelowna Rockets and Quebec Remparts will meet for the second time at the 2015 Memorial Cup tonight when the teams play in the semi-final game at Le Colisee in Quebec City.

The Rockets lost to the Remparts 4-3 last Friday in its opening game of the tournament and advanced to the semi-final after finishing the round robin at 1-and-2 and earning a berth with the tournament tie-breaking formula.

The Rockets haven't played since Tuesday when they lost a tight 2-1 decision to Oshawa in the second of back to back games. On Monday the team defeated Rimouski 7-3.

The Remparts advanced to the semi-final following a 5-2 victory over Rimouski Thursday night. The win took place in the 12th tie-breaker game in MasterCard Memorial Cup history.

The winner will advance to Sunday’s Championship Final against the Oshawa Generals in a game scheduled for 4 p.m.
