ST. LOUIS – Authorities say a man and woman have been shot while fighting over a gun in a car that was parked outside the St. Louis Art Museum after it had closed for the night.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that police found the 42-year-old man bleeding from wounds to his neck and shoulder area late Sunday inside the car. The 22-year-old woman showed up later at a hospital, where she was listed in critical but stable condition. She had been shot in the face.
Police have listed the woman as the suspect in the shooting and the man as the victim. She is accused of first-degree assault, but police have not released her name or said if charges were filed against her.
Police say the gun was reported stolen in 2016.
