Man arrested at London’s Heathrow under terrorism laws

LONDON – British police say officers have arrested a 39-year-old man at London’s Heathrow Airport under terrorism laws.

Scotland Yard said the man was nabbed on suspicion of possessing terrorist-related material after he arrived at the airport on Saturday.

He was taken to a London police station where he remained in custody Sunday.

Police say counter-terrorism officers are investigating. No details were immediately available.
