SUBMITTED\/Sandra Dreger<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Holding the top spot for the heaviest tomato <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.de\/world-records\/heaviest-tomato\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in the Guinness Book of World Records<\/a> is a domingo variety that was grown by Dan Sutherland in Walla Walla, Washington, USA last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tomato weighed 16.89 pounds and had a circumference of 39 inches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The world record for the heaviest beet was set by the Fortey family in the UK in 2019, weighing 52 lb, 14 oz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.infonews.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/giant-beet-.jpg\" alt=\"|\" class=\"wp-image-7865501\" title=\"|\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">A gigantic beat was pulled from a Kamloops garden.
