A well-known summer ice cream shop is expanding into the food truck scene with a recently renovated mobile trailer.<\/p>\n
Scoopz Ice Cream Parlour already has a popular location in downtown Kamloops and this summer owner Adrianne Erlandson wanted to expand the business to local festivals and concerts.<\/p>\n
You can find them at the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc celebration for National Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21, at the fairgrounds with the new mobile unit.<\/p>\n
READ MORE: <\/strong>We've got the scoop on ice cream in the Thompson-Okanagan<\/a><\/p>\n This summer, Erlandson plans to stay around Kamloops but will see how it goes in regards to expanding outside of the Kamloops area, she said.<\/p>\n The trailer offers 12 varieties of ice cream and sorbets that will serve as an extension of the shop, she said.
