Highway 1 between Revelstoke and Golden is closed in both directions for avalanche control today.<\/p>\n

The avalanche control work is between Townley Street and Anderson Road for 141 km.<\/p>\n

There is no detour available and the highway is expected to be closed until 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

The highway had to be closed early because of a car crash.<\/p>\n
