A vehicle wound up in the Similkameen River near Princeton this afternoon and the driver didn't survive.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews were called to the crash at around 12:26 p.m., June 26, according to an RCMP media release.<\/p>\n

The driver was extracted from the vehicle by Princeton Road Rescue personnel.<\/p>\n

RCMP said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the cause of the crash is being investigated.<\/p>\n

Police haven't released the identity of the deceased.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Princeton RCMP at 250-295-6911 and quote File # 2024-950.<\/p>\n
