Two motorcycle crashes on the weekend claimed the lives of both riders, one on Barnharvale Road in Kamloops and the other on Highway 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officers were call to a single-vehicle crash in the 8500-block of Barnharvale Road at approximately 5:40 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, according to an RCMP media release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the efforts for bystanders and emergency personnel, the motorcyclist didn’t make it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle happened at around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, claiming the life of the rider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The crash happened on Highway 5 near Timber Lake Forest Service Road, RCMP said. Bystanders and emergency crews tried to save the person’s life but they were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RCMP and BC Coroners Service are investigating both fatal crashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
