After teasing the opening weekend on social media, Enderby's Starlight Drive-in has officially announced it will be opening for the season this weekend.<\/p>\n
The popular drive-in theatre will be showing the PG rated movies Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves<\/em>, followed by Top Gun: Maverick<\/em>.<\/p>\n Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves<\/em>, the fantasy\/comedy based on the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons, was filmed in Iceland and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n %%Video1%%<\/p>\n Top Gun: Maverick<\/em>, starring Tom Cruise, is the sequel to the 1986 blockbuster Top Gun<\/em>.<\/p>\n %%Video2%%<\/p>\n This weekend's opening will be the 22nd season for the drive-in. <\/p>\n The double features are showing Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May ,6 with Dungeons and Dragons<\/em> showing at 8:30 p.m. and Top Gun Maverick<\/em> at 11:30 p.m. The box office and concession open at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n The Starlight Drive-in is located at 5341 Highway 97A in Enderby.<\/p>\n The drive-in says to make sure moviegoers don't leave home needlessly, tickets must be pre-purchased online or by phone, pointing out the ticket guarantees entrance into the drive-in, although the parking spots are first come, first serve.<\/p>\n Go here to buy tickets online<\/a> or call 250-549-7469.<\/p>\n To contact a reporter for this story, email Shannon Ainslie<\/a> or call 250-819-6089 or email the editor<\/a>.
