One person died yesterday in a vehicle collision on Highway 97 near Monte Lake.<\/p>\n
According to a Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media release, the crash took place just before 10 a.m yesterday, June 19, when a small Hyundai passenger vehicle heading west crossed the centre line and struck a pickup truck towing a travel trailer head-on.<\/p>\n
The lone occupant of the Hyundai was killed in the crash.<\/p>\n
The occupants of the pickup were taken to hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n
